taylorWillie Jo Taylor, was born on August 20, 1930 near Brownsboro, Texas, and passed away on October 29, 2015 in Waxahachie, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruby Featherston, and her sister, Lola Featherston.

Willie Jo graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas, and was a long time member of Oak Cliff Assembly of God church, where she met and married the love of her life, David Taylor. They married on June 12, 1952, and enjoyed 63 years of marriage together.

After retirement, David and Willie Jo moved to Ferris, Texas, and enjoyed living out on their farm together for the past 27 years. Willie Jo loved to travel, socialize, and be involved in her church, The Oaks Fellowship, in Red Oak, Texas. She leaves behind many friends and family, who are heartbroken over her death, but cling to the hope of being reunited again in Heaven one day.

Willie Jo is survived by her husband, David, their three children: Donna Herrera, Paula Todd and husband David, and Clifton Taylor; grandchildren Jason Crenshaw and wife Leslie, Julie Nunn and husband Corey, Chris Todd, Jennifer McCutchon and husband David, Jessica Pennington and husband Dan, Scott Herrera and wife Chayimel; great-grandchildren Taylor Crenshaw, Alex Crenshaw, Adalaide McCutchon, and Ava Pennington.

jaynesVisitation with the family is 7-9 pm Monday, November 2, 2015 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Services are 11:00 am Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Jaynes.

Interment will follow at Laure Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
