On a cool Saturday night in Dallas, the Dallas Baptist Lady Patriots improved their overall record to 11-5 (7-1) with a four-game, non-conference win over Midwestern State (4-13). Aside from dropping the third set, 25-13, DBU cruised to the decisive win: 25-17, 25-15 and 25-16. The Lady Patriots allowed the Mustangs to hit only .173 for the match while hitting at a .246 clip themselves. Erika Papadeas led the way on offense with 15 kills and Tadam Mergener followed with 14 of her own.
