Velda A. Mullan November 30, 1931 – April 13, 2018

Velda left us on April 13, 2018, to join her Savior, Jesus Christ. The daughter of Earl and Genevieve Marston, Velda was born on November 30, 1931, in Harmon, Oklahoma. She lived life to the fullest and loved her family with all her heart.

She had a penchant for service and supported numerous charities and other organizations throughout her life – never refusing an opportunity to help to others.

Beyond her successful career in real estate Velda was a woman of many talents, including writing poetry, gardening, and cooking. Later in life, she enthusiastically took up yoga and line dancing with her friends.

Velda is survived by her siblings Virgil, Lora, Alberta, Gordon, and Paul David. She is also survived by her son David and his wife Victoria, her daughter Karen and her husband Mike, and her step-daughter Carmen and her husband Ed. Additionally, she leaves behind grandchildren Sean, David, Michael, Christopher, Eric, Matthew, Ginny, Tony, and Brandee, along with eighteen great-grandchildren.

Preceding Velda in death were her parents, husbands, and siblings Ona Mae, Raymond, Eugene, and Murl.

Funeral Service is 10:00 AM Wednesday April 18, 2018 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, Texas. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.
