The Heartland Conference announced Thursday evening the 2012 All-Heartland Conference Teams and Dallas Baptist Basketball placed two members on the First Team, joining St. Mary’s and Texas A&M International as the only teams with representatives on the first team. Nick Fox, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jordan McGowen, a senior from Kingwood, Texas, were voted to the team by the Head Coaches of Heartland Conference Basketball.

Fox and McGowen ended the regular season averaging an identical 15.4 points per game. McGowen averaged 7.1 rebounds per game while Fox pulled down 4.2 on an average night. The Patriot duo had almost identical shooting percentages from the field, the three-point line, and the free throw stripe.

The Patriots finished the regular season with a 15-13 mark and now await the seedings for the National Christian College Athletic Association Regional Tournament to be held in Colorado next week. Continue to check for further information.
