The forecast calls for scattered showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon and into the night across much of North Texas as tropical storm Bill makes landfall in the Gulf of Mexico.

Later this evening widespread heavy rainfall is expected through the night, creating a chance of flash floods across all of North Texas.

With the landfalling tropical cyclone, there is a chance of tornadoes along with these storms.

Wednesday through Friday the NWS calls for showers and thunderstorms, with flash floods being the main threat.
