Trisha Jaime Sy, 39, was born on April 28, 1977 and passed away on March 23, 2017. She was born in Chicago, IL and was the only daughter and eldest of two to Samuel and Aurora Sy.

Trisha grew up in Duncanville, TX, attending local schools including the Merrywood School of Duncanville and the Hockaday School of Dallas. Once the family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, she completed her high school degree in Walnut Creek, CA at Las Lomas High School, and went on to study several college courses in the area. After living the majority of her life in northern California, she spent her last year in Texas.

Trisha was an accomplished artist and avid reader, taking after her father Sam. She also had an ear for music and gift of hospitality like her mother Rory. But beyond her talents, she will be remembered most for her love, kindness, generosity, and selfless service towards her family and those in need. She found purpose in blessing others through her nurturing care and heartfelt gifts.

A believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, Trisha joins her mother, Rory, who passed before her; and is survived by her niece and nephew, Chloe and Daylen; by her brother and sister-in-law, Sean and Justine; and by her father, Sam. She was also surrounded by extended family primarily in the United States and the Philippines, as well as lifelong friends in California and Texas. Trisha was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Memorial service is at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, TX.

Service will be followed immediately by a nearby reception lunch for guests.
