Transfer Requests for Currently Enrolled Students Accepted Through June 1

Parents residing in Duncanville ISD who wish to have their children attend a Duncanville school other than the school zoned for their residence may now request transfers for the 2012-2013 school year.  Parents must file anIntra-district Transfer Request form with the Office of Student Services (502 E Freeman), and the transfer request must be made for reasons that are educationally valid.  Please note: transportation convenience and childcare location are not considered valid reasons to grant transfer requests. Also, a request does not guarantee that the transfer will be approved or that the child will begin the school year at the requested campus.

Forms are now available at all campuses, the Duncanville Education Center, and the Administration Building.  They must be completed and submitted in person to the Office of Student Services, located in Room 202, by 4:00 pm on June 1. Transfer requests received after June 1 will not be accepted, and Student Services will not be responsible for transfers that are lost or late as a result of being mailed, emailed, faxed, or given to the campus to be forwarded.
