On Friday, October 14, 2011, the Duncanville Athletic Department will host the 2nd Annual Pink Out Day in conjunction with the Duncanville Panther varsity football game against South Grand Prairie. All victims, survivors, and supporters of cancer and cancer awareness will be honored at the home football game. Everyone can show support for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Foundation by purchasing and wearing a Duncanville Pink Out Shirt to the football game on October 14. Shirts are $10 – $12 each and proceeds will benefit the Susan G. 4th Annual FCA Classic on November 4, 2011
On November 4, the 4th Annual FCA Classic Football game will take place between the Cedar Hill Longhorns and the Duncanville Panthers at Duncanville Panther Stadium. This annual football game highlights the Fellowship of Christian Athletes programs impacting the coaches, athletes, and communities of Cedar Hill and Duncanville. Local businesses such as Chick-fil-A, Premier Properties, Camp Bow Wow, and the Duncanville Lions Club have been active participants in this exciting event serving as community sponsors for the Classic.
FCA provides opportunities for student athletes and their peers to experience a relationship with Jesus Christ through coachs leadership, campus huddles, community events, and camps. FCAs One Way 2 Play programs encourage student-athletes to compete at the highest levelalcohol and drug-free. Proceeds from this game go to help support the active work of FCA in both Cedar Hill and Duncanville. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of livesone heart at a time.
