“Small Business Orientation” at the Duncanville Public Library

Looking for alternatives for employment? Do you have an interest, passion or experience that you want to use to help start a business? Before you invest your  life savings, wouldn’t it be nice to know whether your business idea has merit?

The Best Southwest Development Center(BSDC) will present “Small Business Orientation”, hosted by the Duncanville Public Library on Tuesday, August 21st from 7 until 8 p.m. in the Library Program Room. Dr. Glenda Overstreet, a SBDC Business Advisor, will give an overview of Operation Jumpstart, in which you’ll examine your business idea from every angle. Not only will it help you make a decision about starting your business, you’ll discover whether the life of an entrepreneur is right for you.

Operation JumpStart is a
practical, hands-on, microenterprise development program designed to help entrepreneurs like you test the feasibility of your business ideas and plan to launch new ventures.
