Methodist Charlton nurse April Bartley, IBCLC, a long-time nurse in postpartum and nursery, recently passed the exam to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her co-workers say her patients love the care and support she provides.

Methodist Charlton Medical Staff Manager Dawn Mason-Sturgeon has successfully passed the Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) examination. The CPCS certification, through the National Association of Medical Staff Services, is a recognition of Dawn’s level of skill, knowledge, and expertise as a medical staff services professional. She joins a very select group of nationally certified professionals.
Methodist Charlton Infection Control Practitioner Mary Fulton recently passed her Certification in Infection Control recertification exam. Mary was also elected president-elect for 2012 for the Dallas / Fort Worth chapter of the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc.
