Santa Cop In Need of Elves to Help With Toys

santacopDuncanville Police Department – The Duncanville Police Department and the Duncanville Police Association kicked off its 2016 Santa Cop toy drive on November 1st. The Santa Cop program delivers toys to children in need, in the community.

The Santa Cop program is funded by local donations, business supporters, volunteers and members of the Duncanville Police Department. It is organized by the Duncanville Police Association, and supported by members of the Duncanville Police Department, their families, Ebby Halliday Realtors’ Southwest Dallas/Ellis County office, Duncanville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, JackPot Bingo, Popeyes Chicken 338 E. Camp Wisdom Rd.,Home Depot Distribution Center, and community volunteers.

Nominations for a limited number of needy children or families are accepted from a selection process. Due to the volume of requests, nominations cannot be accepted from individuals, nor is self-nomination permitted. The DPA verifies City residency and need. A final determination of the neediest families is made by the Santa Cop Committee.
