Rios has picked up right where she left off last season as she became the first golfer in Patriot Golf history, male or female, to qualify for a NCAA Division II National Championship.

“Proud of Mercedes as I know she put in a lot of hard work this summer – great to have a player and leader like her on our squad,” stated Head Coach Kenny Trapp.

Rios and her teammates will be back in action next week as they compete in the NCAA National Preview at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida.
