Pet of the Week – June 23, 2015

Filed under: City,Pet of the Week |

Hail!  From the royal grounds of Machu Picchu in Perú, to ancient archeological digs, to European voyages with explorers.  These little cavies, lovingly known as “piggies”, have decendents who have travelled far and wide!  These little cavies are a weary little band of travelers and are looking for a permanent gig…hopefully with you!

Lg-POW-BrownieHenryThey love and need spacious, airy cages (no aquariums, please!), they love living with a friend, and although they mostly eat guinea pig pellets, they enjoy their daily snack of fresh fruits and veggies.

These little piggies are $15 each or they can go together two for the price of one!

For dogs and cats, pet adoptions are normally $75 and include initial vaccinations (including rabies), de-worming, heartworm testing (for dogs), microchipping with registration, a collar with tag, cardboard cat carrier (for cats), and an offer for a 30-day gift of free pet health insurance.

If you are interested in Brownie and/or Hentry, or any other pet that may be up for adoption, please call or come on down to Tri-City Animal Shelter & Adoption Center at 972-291-5335.

The shelter is located at 1150 E. Pleasant Run Rd. in Cedar Hill, TX.*

Tri adopting – it’s a way of life!

*Please note that adoptions are on a first come basis and advertised pets may not be available when you arrive, but there are many, many more pets searching for a good home who would like to meet you!
