Paul Roger Brown, a kind and gentle man, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017, after a long journey through Alzheimer’s disease. Paul was born November 10, 1942, in Dallas.

He grew up in Oak Cliff and graduated South Oak Cliff High School before attending UTA. In his youth, he was a member of Saner Avenue Church of Christ. He served in the United States Marine Corps for six years. Paul retired from ABF Trucking. At the time of his death, he was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill.

Paul is survived by his wife Sandy; his son Paul Brown Jr; brother, Charlie Thomas Brown and his wife Marie; granddaughters, Amanda Ransom and Morgan Brown.

He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie Thomas Brown and Cora Lee Smith; and sister, Mary Beth Heath.

A visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday, November 29 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Services are 10:00 am Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Jaynes.

Interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
