patsy_fergusonPatsy Marie Morris Ferguson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend passed away April 17, 2015. She was born July 4, 1925 in Wheatland, Texas, the daughter of William E. Morris & Beatrice Lillian Wright Morris.

A graduate of Lancaster High School, Patsy went on to work for the Duncanville ISD as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, retiring with over 20 years of service in 1980.

She was a proud member of the Old Chisholm Trail Chapter of the D.A.R. Patsy also was a member of the Duncanville Church of Christ, having been a previous member of the Sunset Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lawrence Homer “Tag” Ferguson, Jr in August 2012.

She was also preceded by her parents; sister, Bonita Tucker & brother, G. D. Morris.

Survivors include her son, Lawrence “Lanny” Ferguson, III & wife, Donna; Grandsons, Geoffrey Ryan Ferguson & wife, Lacey and Gregory Blake Ferguson; great-grandson, Landon; sister, Monette Hilton; sister-in-law, Billie Ferguson Ross; brother-in-law, M.T. “Red” Powers along with numerous nieces & nephews.

jaynesFuneral Services are 10 AM, Tuesday April 21, 2015 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Burial follows at Laurel Land Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Monday at Jaynes.
