Hope Koym stopped all 5 shots on goal for her first shutout of the season. DBU only recorded 4 shots on net, but their .500 shot on goal percentage made it more than enough.

THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
– The Patriots’ 4 shots on goal were the fewest in a regulation win since September 22, 2016, against Newman.

– DBU was outshot for the first time all season.

– Woodfill was the only Patriot to attempt multiple shots Friday, recording 3 attempts with one finding the target.

DBU HEAD COACH MICHELLE LENARD ON THE CHALLENGE POSED BY TWU
“They’re always difficult to play against for us. They work really hard. They’re organized. They press really well. They make it really hard to play the way we want to play. I thought what we did best tonight was find ways to score goals, even if it wasn’t the way we normally try to play.”

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

.833 – Hope Koym raised her save percentage to .833 for the season.
