So far this season, the Patriots have not fared well in close games. So Saturday night in Denver, Colorado, the Patriots (2-4) decided to not leave anything to chance against Regis (1-2) in winning, 82-67.

In the first half, Dallas Baptist held Regis to just 9 of 23 shooting while scoring on nearly half their own attempts in the opening twenty minutes. Jonathan Perry led the way with 18 points on the night while Nick Fox continued his outstanding play with 17 points and nine rebounds. Jordan Kirschke poured in 14 points of his own on six of ten shooting from the field.

The Patriots continued their hot shooting in the second half by scoring 45 points on 18 of 32 shooting to finish the night at 52.4%. They were perfect from the free throw line in nine attempts.

For the sixth straight game, the Dallas Baptist bench proved to be the deeper of the two teams as they outscored the Regis bench by four on this night, 35-31. On Saturday night, the Patriots were also able to secure the paint by scoring 44 of their 82 points from inside.

The Patriots will take the court again on December 1 as they begin Heartland Conference play against Oklahoma Panhandle State at 2:00 pm. The game will mark the return of the Patriot Broadcasting Network as Brendan Smith and Reagan Ratcliff call the action on
