On Tuesday, October 25 and Friday, October 28, the Patriot Cheerleaders hosted pep rallies at two local elementary schools, Kinkeade Early Childhood Elementary in Irving, Texas, and Clint Q. Smith Elementary in Duncanville, Texas.

The Cheerleaders were invited to Kinkeade to help support their Red Ribbon Initiative week and led cheers in support of being drug free.  The team was able to show these students that school is an important time in life and that they should focus and try hard in order to reach their goals.

“We have been going to Kinkeade for a few years and are touched by the children’s energy and enthusiasm every time we visit,” comments Head Cheer Coach, Michelle Grose.

Smith Elementary also invited the Patriot Cheerleaders to perform at their student rewards pep rally to help encourage the students to focal on their success in the classroom. “This was our first time to visit Smith Elementary, and the children treated us like celebrities. They were so sweet and loving and made every bit of what we do worth it,” said sophomore cheerleader Chloe Heidelberg.
