Still missing from the box score is 6’8” Junior post Omar Sherman, who suffered a knee injury against Mesquite earlier in the season.

Duncanville, ranked #5 in the state in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches weekly poll, has district rivals DeSoto, South Grand Prairie, and Mansfield Timberview ranked ahead of them.

The Panthers meet up with Midlothian on Tuesday in an away game, and then next Friday they travel to Cedar Hill to take on the Longhorns.

The Panthers will take a break from district action for the Christmas and New Years’ holidays and take part in the Whataburger Tournament, before picking back up with district 7-5A action on January 4.
