Panthers Eye 4-0 as they face Irving High School
The 3-0 Duncanville Panthers travel to Irving School Stadium Thursday night to take on the 1-2 Irving High School Tigers. The game is set to start at 7 p.m. in the first battle in 7-6A for 2016.
Duncanville knocked off Plano East (36-32), Arlington Sam Houston (38-23) and Dallas Skyline (31-14) in non-district action. Irving lost to Fort Worth Paschal (41-29) and Bishop Lynch (52-13), before downing Little Elm (28-27). Paschal was the only 6A team the Tigers faced in non-district, with Bishop Lynch in TAPPS 1-I, and Little Elm being a 5A team.
Going into tonight’s game, Duncanville is averaging 36 points per game, and only giving up an average of 23 points per game. Irving is only managing 23 points per game and allowing 40 points per game.
