The Panthers scored again with 1:16 left in the half on a Reggie Qualls 4-yard run. The Eric Carrasco PAT brought the score to 34-14 as Duncanville tried to make a dent in the Colts’ lead.

However, the Panther defense couldn’t keep Arlington out of the end zone as the Colts took only six plays to go 45-yards to score with only :24 seconds left in the half to take a 41-14 lead into the locker room.

Duncanville did try to cut further into the lead, but the hole was dug and it was way to deep as Duncanville outscored Arlington 23-16 in the second half, but still fell by a 57-37 final score.

For the game, Duncanville fumbled the ball five times losing four of them to the Colts defense. Another factor was the 130 yards lost on nine penalties, including 45-yards in penalties in one swoop in the third quarter.

Duncanville did end the game with more overall offensive yardage 400/368) and one both the rushing and passing yardage battle.

For Duncanville, Mike Myers was 12-22 for 162 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. Reggie Qualls garnered 137 yards on 22 attempts and Damario Green had four receptions for 81-yards and one touchdown.

Arlington’s QB crew was led by Caelen Day, 9/19 for 116 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Dusion Sproles had 21 carries for 134-yards and Rashad Anderson had 78-yards on five receptions.

Duncanville next comes home to host Mesquite Horn on Friday night at 7:30PM. Horn fell to McKinney Boyd 41-38 this past Friday.
