#1 Duncanville to face #12 Cedar Hill Friday night at Cedar Hill High School
The Pantherettes had a fairly easy time rolling over the Lady Tigers on Tuesday night, going on a 19-0 run to start the game, before closing it out with the 93-20 victory.
Duncanville stretched their lead out in the first to go up 25-4 after the first period, and then 41-10 at the half. It didn’t get much better for Irving in the second half, as they scored only 10 points, as the Pantherettes scored 42 to capture the gme with a 63 point margin. These types of scores are the reason that the Duncanville holds a +1103 point differential for the season.
Leading the way for Duncanville was Aniya Thomas with 18 points, followed by Starr Jacobs with 16 and Krislyn Marsh with 10 points. In fact, the entire Pantherette roster got into the scoring column for the game.
Heaven McKinley led the Lady Tigers with 10 points, and was the only Irving player to reach double digits.
Duncanville is currenlty ranked as the #1 6A team in Texas by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, and will face the TABC’s #12 team on Friday night when they take on Cedar Hill at Cedar Hill High School. Earlier this season Duncanville downed the Lady Longhorns 64-45.
The Pantherettes just have four more regular season games this year. The away game against Cedar Hill, then they travel to Irving Nimitz, they then host South Grand Prairie and wrap up the regualar season in an away game against DeSoto.
