PACE Graduates Seven

Starting off the new year as fresh Duncanville ISD alumni, the achievements of Valencia Bollin, Kade Doyle, Brittnei Finn, Ahmad Hatim, Courtney Hicks, Anthony Jordan, and Nick Kristofitz were celebrated in a commencement ceremony at Mary E Smithey PACE Learning Center on December 15.

Valencia Bollin began attending PACE in October 2011. She plans to attend the University of Texas at Arlington to major in music.

Kade Doyle came to PACE in August 2009 and earned his final 14 credits. He now plans to head to Sam Houston State University and pursue his interests in the challenging field of criminal justice and law enforcement.

Brittnei Finn also came to PACE in August 2009. While there, she earned a very impressive 19 credits to reach graduate status. Brittnei says she’s interested in heeding a higher calling and enlisting in the United States Navy. After serving her country, she will enroll at the University of Oklahoma and study sports medicine.

Ahmad Hatim began attending PACE in August 2011. He’s looking forward to attending the University of North Texas, where he’ll study media technology and broadcasting.

Courtney Hicks also began attending PACE in August 2011. She plans to attend Grambling State University and become a biology teacher.

Anthony Jordan came to PACE in August 2010. While there, he persevered to earn his final 9 credits to reach graduate status. Anthony is now looking forward to attending UTI in either Dallas or Sacramento to become an automotive technician.

Coming to PACE in August 2010, Nick Kristofitz worked diligently to complete his final 10.5 credits. He plans to enroll at El Centro College and continue his interests and training in the creative field of culinary arts.
