Now Taking Applications for the Duncanville Citizen Police Academy Fall 2012 Class

The Duncanville Police Department is currently looking for people who live or work in Duncanville that are interested in learning more about the Duncanville Police Department and the officers that serve them.

The Duncanville Citizen Police Academy will begin its 45th session and 22nd year hosting this FREE program for the citizens. Classes instructed during the academy include  DWI investigation, Family Violence, Criminal Investigation, Patrol Procedures and demonstrations by the Duncanville Police Departments Tactical Team.

More than 650 citizens have graduated from the Duncanville Citizen’s Police Academy and a large number of them have continued into the Citizens on Patrol program.
