Methodist Charlton stroke coordinator participates in EMS awareness program

Marilyn Clark, RN, cardiac/stroke coordinator at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, recently participated in the Cedar Hill Fire Department open house for stroke awareness and education. During the event, Clark answered visitors’ questions on strokes, and provided handouts from the American Heart Association on stroke awareness, signs and symptoms of stroke.

Methodist Charlton has been designated an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by the American Stroke Association.
