The Texas Hospital Association recently recognized Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas for 25 years of working to exceed the needs of patients in Southwest Dallas County. Methodist Charlton Medical Center officials were recognized with the 25-year long-time member award, presented to only 25 hospitals in Texas this year. THA Membership Manager Della Vallejo presented the award to Methodist Charlton Medical Center President Jonathan S. Davis, FACHE; Chief Nursing Officer Fran Laukaitis; Risk Manager Lorenzo Manquero; volunteer Velma George; Nursing Director Evelina Echols-Sutton; and Director of Emergency Services Michael Seifu.

“Methodist Charlton has reached a significant milestone among Texas hospitals. As a THA member, Methodist Charlton provides its employees and trustees affordable education on the complex issues they face in the delivery of health care. Together, we form a strong voice along with other Texas hospitals to advocate for sound health policy at the state and federal levels,” Vallejo said. ‘This is a significant milestone, and THA appreciates Methodist Charlton’s commitment to working together to address health care policy issues and improve care for all Texans.”
