Methodist Charlton Medical Center and President Recognized as First Best Southwest Allied Partner

At the recent Best Southwest (BSW) Partnership quarterly luncheon, incoming BSW Chairman, Lancaster Mayor, and Methodist Charlton Medical Center Advisory Board Member Marcus Knight presented Methodist Charlton as the first ever Best Southwest Allied Partner in the history of BSW. Mayor Knight gave much praise to Methodist Charlton and President Jonathan S. Davis, FACHE, for their importance to the BSW communities. President Davis and Methodist Health System Vice President External Affairs Dan Eddy were present at the luncheon with approximately 200 in attendance and were asked by the mayor to stand for special recognition.

The Best Southwest Partnership is a cooperative effort among the communities of Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster with associate memberships with Ferris, Glenn Heights, Hutchins, Midlothian, Ovilla, Red Oak, and Wilmer to promote economic, legislative, and educational well-being for Southwest Dallas and Northern Ellis counties. Speaker for the Best Southwest Partnership 4th Quarter Luncheon was Jon Heidtke, senior vice president and general manager of FOX Sports Southwest.
