Methodist Charlton Medical Center recently donated $1,000 for a Navarro College Brilliance Scholarship. The recipient of the scholarship is Robin Jeter. Jeter is a former elementary school teacher but felt that her calling was nursing, so she is balancing her family – husband and three children – while taking a full class schedule.

In the photo, scholarship recipient Robin Jeter (center) is congratulated by Methodist Charlton President Jonathan S. Davis, FACHE, and Kenneth Martin, EdD, president of Navarro College’s Ellis County campuses.

“This scholarship will mean so much to me and my family,” says Jeter, who has a 3.75 GPA and, according to Lynn Pike, administrative assistant to the president of Navarro College, “will be an amazing health care professional.”

The scholarship announcement was made at the recent Navarro College Brilliance Gala. Methodist Charlton President Jonathan S. Davis, FACHE, was present for the presentation of the scholarship.
