Austin, TX  – Twenty Texas Academy of General Dentistry (TAGD) members were inducted as Fellows of the International College of Dentists (ICD) at its 86th Annual Convocation in Washington, DC.

As an honorary organization for the recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to the profession and community, the College presented each Fellow with a membership plaque, a gold lapel pin and a gold key symbolic of this Fellowship for conspicuous service rendered in the art and science of Dentistry.

Witnessed by hundreds of members and guests, dentists from around the United States were inducted into the College at the impressive cap and gown ceremony.  The College, with representative chapters in more than 120 countries, has over 11,000 members, including about 6,500 in the United States.  Congratulations to each TAGD member awarded!

The Texas Academy of General Dentistry’s mission is to help general dentists to succeed.
