mark_leslieMark David Leslie was born November 19, 1950 in Richmond, California. He grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico and graduated from Hobbs High School in 1968.

Over the years, he was employed in the oil field as a mechanic and computer programmer, but more than anything, loved working as a carpenter.

He was a Licensed and Ordained Baptist preacher and member of the board of directors of First Baptist Church of Glenn Heights. He performed missionary work in El Salvador with Bishop Ramon A. DeMaria of the Abundant Grace Church.

He was a loving husband and father and is survived by two sisters, Sherry Leslie of Hobbs, NM and Cindy Leslie McCollum of Binger, OK; brother, Steven Leslie of Austin, TX; wife, Sandy Leslie; and son, Robert Leslie of Cedar Hill, TX; daughters, Shana Turney of Josephine, TX, Jennifer Leslie of Joshua, TX, Sheena Day of Venus, TX, and Jessica Wright of Cedar Hill, TX; sons, David Leslie of Castle Rock, CO, and Matthew Leslie of Carlsbad, NM; and nephew, Kendan Judd Chase of Venus, TX. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 nephews and nieces.
