Duncanville started out strong in the first half, but a third period collapse gave Cedar Hill the clear lead and the momentum to take the 73-55 win.
Trailing by just 5 points at halftime, Duncanville could not match the offense of the Longhorns in the third period and trailed 36-55 going into the fourth. Cedar Hill matched Duncanville in the fourth and left town with the 18-point victory.
Tyler Watkins led Duncanville with 17 points, followed by Miles McDougal with 11 points and Dexter Johnson with 10 points.
For the Longhorns, Zachary Simmons led with 17 points, followed by Jordan Phillips with 16, and Ronald Pugh and Bruce Simmons with 10 points each.
Cedar Hill remained in fourth place in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) top 25 weekly poll, and Duncanville remains in twelfth place.
The Panthers will travel to Irving Nimitz on Tuesday night to take on the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. in an away game, before returning home Friday night for 7:30 p.m. game against South Grand Prairie.
