“We would like to order 2,100 bright, yellow daisies, please!”

“Isn’t it a little early for Valentine’s Day arrangements?”

“Actually, it’s not for Valentine’s Day…Methodist Health System is celebrating National Daisy Day!”

DaisyOn Monday, January 28, Methodist Health System will celebrate National Daisy Day at each of our four hospital campuses by presenting our patients and their families with daisies as a special “thank you” for entrusting us with their care.

Methodist volunteers and employees, and board members will personally deliver daisies Monday morning to each patient and visitor.

People who like Methodist Health System on Facebook will also be able to brighten a friend’s day by sharing virtual daisies from our Facebook page.

“We show our patients how much we care for them every day by providing them with compassionate, quality care, but on National Daisy Day, we want to add a unique touch,” said Stephen L. Mansfield, PhD, FACHE, President and CEO of Methodist Health System. “We believe that Methodist Health System is the place where life shines bright, and this daisy serves as a small token of our appreciation for their trust in us. We hope the daisies brighten their day as much as our patients brighten ours.”
