Learn the ABC’s of Grandparenting This Saturday at Methodist Charlton’s Grandparent Palooza

Grandparents will learn ways to help balance the educational, legal, and financial demands of grandparenting while maintaining a healthy lifestyle at Grandparent Palooza this weekend. The free community event at Methodist Charlton Medical Center for adults age 55 and older will feature a variety of resources for health care, legal services, volunteer opportunities, fitness, and general well-being. Guest speakers include representatives from Dallas ISD, Betty Ford Five Star Kids Program, Memory Disorders Clinic, Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, and the Dallas Morning News. In addition to helpful resources, attendees will enjoy refreshments and door prizes.

The event will be held in the auditorium of Methodist Charlton Medical Center on Saturday, September 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event is free, but reservations are required. To RSVP, call 214-947-4628. Methodist Charlton is located at 3500 W. Wheatland Road, Dallas, TX 75237.

Grandparent Palooza is sponsored by Methodist Health System Senior Access, which is designed to meet the diverse needs of adults 55 and older.
