milnerLarry Wayne Milner, 59, of Cedar Hill, TX, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. Larry was born October 9, 1956, in Dallas, TX, the son of Lewis Steve Milner and Mary Virginia Salter.

Larry was united in marriage to Mary Ann Scully April 23, 1977.

He was a member of Duncanville’s First Baptist Church. Following four years in the U.S. Navy, he went to work in the operations department of Mt. View College, where he retired after 30 years. Larry loved the outdoors and became a Park Host at Cedar Hill State Park after retirement. Larry was an avid sports fan and had a passion for coaching. He coached his sons with the Duncanville Mustang Football Program, DBBI, and Upwards Basketball Program and continued coaching until his last days. Larry was a loving Husband and a very proud Dad and Papa. He was very loved and will be missed by many.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Steve Milner.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann of Cedar Hill, TX; son, Aaron Milner & wife Kristen of Oak Point, TX; son, Adam Milner of Midlothian, TX; four grandchildren, Gavin, Jaxon, Belle and Tyson; mother, Ginger Milner; sisters, Debbie Grissom and Suzie Brown & husband Chris; brother-in-law, James Scully & wife Paula; sister-in-law, De-De Henson & husband George; and numerous nieces and nephews.

jaynesFuneral services are at noon, Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Duncanville’s First Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.

Visitation with the family will be from 6-9 pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
