“It was an absolute battle out there today – our girls really had to dig down deep to get through today’s round,’ shared Head Golf Kenny Trapp.  Standing tall for the Lady Patriots, Williams carded an opening round 81, continuing her solid play this season and concluding her day one efforts with a fourth place individual position.  Williams opened up with an impressive front side 37 but struggled coming in, posting a 44 on the back nine on the challenging Grey Rock Golf Course.

Sophomore Erin Barrington sits in 10th place overall after firing an opening round 83 on Monday, respectively.  Junior Mercedes Rios (87) and Freshmen Macie Seeker (88) and  Abbey Bradley (90) rounded out Monday’s efforts for the Lady Patriots.
