Lady Patriot Golf Ranked 19th in Latest Golf World NGCA Coaches’ Poll

The Lady Patriot Golf Team received 113 points in the latest Golf World National Golf Coaches Association Women’s NCAA DII Coaches’ Poll.

The Golf World issue that will release on March 5, will showcase the Lady Patriots as ranked 19th in the country.

Nova Southeastern Claims Top Spot

(NEW YORK, NY)-The 2012 season’s first Golf World/NGCA Division II College Women’s Coaches’ Poll of the season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine and the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I and III, will appear in the March 5, 2012 issue of Golf World and are live now: GolfWorld Issue

Nova Southeastern earned 12 of the 16 available first place votes to remain atop the first spring edition of the Golf World/NGCA Division II women’s coaches’ poll. The Sharks finished third in their first event of the spring, the Lady Moc Golf Classic, and have yet to finish worse than fourth in any event during the 2011-12 season.

St. Edward’s held on to No. 2 ranking in the poll, while Florida Southern claimed the No. 3 spot. Rounding out the top five were Tarleton State and Lynn.

UNC Pembroke climbed to No. 10, the lone newcomer into the top-10. Along with Florida Southern, No. 20 Grand Canyon and No. 23 Flager were the three newcomers to the top 25.
