Omega Delta Phi, Kappa Delta Chi and Zeta Phi Host Greek Night

On Wednesday night, October 24, the Knights hosted their first Greek social on the Gaubert Student Activity Center (GSAC) patio. The students were eager to get to know about the up and coming sororities and fraternities on campus. The brothers of Omega Delta Phi from University of Texas at Arlington also came to support their fellow brothers and sisters. Brandon Mason, an Omega Delta Phi Men of Vision and junior in the entertainment, sport & promotion management program, stated, “It was definitely good meeting the established Omega Delta Phis and I hope that we can work together to create more events on campus.

The atmosphere was at ease and everyone got along well. The different sororities and fraternities embraced one another while answering questions from prospective students looking for a Greek organization to join. “I think that tonight is a great opportunity for Northwood students to understand more about Greek life”, said Sara Martinez, a sophomore in the fashion marketing and marketing program.

The Greek Social was a success for everyone. There was dancing, singing, stepping and everyone enjoyed the night. The Knights are looking forward to more Greek socials and expanding their Greek life on campus.
