Kathryn Ann Wolf May 23, 1937 – January 30, 2016

wolfKathryn Ann Fenske was born on May 23, 1937 to Amanda and Ted Fenske in the Battle community near Waco, TX. She was their only child. She was baptized and confirmed as a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Mart, Texas. She graduated from Mart High School in 1955 as valedictorian of her class and attended Baylor University.

Kathy married Robert “Bob” Wolf, a Mart High School classmate, on July 27, 1957 and they were married almost 51 years until his death in March, 2008.

Kathy was active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Dallas, enjoyed her involvement with the Camp Fire Girls and was an avid bowler, traveling the United States to participate in bowling tournaments.

Professionally, Kathy loved accounting and managed the books for her son’s company as well as several other local businesses. However, she recalled her years at the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce her most enjoyable. Kathy participated in community events and took on a leadership role in many civic activities. She was well respected and loved by all.

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband Bob and is survived by her son, Robert Steven Wolf and his wife, Debbie, and daughter, Susan Kay Wolf Cox and husband, Kevin. The loves of her life were her four grandchildren; Bradley Wolf, Gregory Wolf (wife Catherine), Philip Cox (wife Madyson), and Amanda Cox; and one great-grandchild, Raylee Cox.

jaynesFuneral services are 3:00 pm, Monday, February 1, 2016, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville. Visitation with the family is 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Sunday evening.
