Judy Skidmore February 9, 1947 – November 6, 2016

skidmoreJudy Skidmore was born February 9, 1947 in Covington, Indiana then moved to Texas with her family in 1954. She gave birth to her son, Jerry, in 1966 and worked for the Army Airforce Exchange Service for over 35 years, where she met her husband, Tom in 1978. Throughout her years she touched many lives and built countless relationships. Judy will be most remembered for her beauty, generosity, humanity, humility, infectious smile, and dedication to her family, friends, and many rescued animals.

Judy joined our Heavenly Father peacefully on the morning of November 6, 2016 with the love of her life, Tom, by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents James Carl and Elva Jean Ingram; and her brothers Larry and John Ingram.

Judy is survived by her dedicated and loving husband of 38 years, Tom Herl; her son Jerry Wingo; step-daughter, Tomi Herl; grandchildren, Dawson and Kodi Bauman-Herl; sisters, Jeanene Morgan, Rose McMillan, and Shannon Noel; and many nieces and nephews.

jaynesMemorial services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church, 318 West Jefferson Street, in Palmer, Texas.
