Billie Joyce Anderson (Joyce as she preferred to be called), was born in Oakland, California, but moved to Texas shortly after she was born.

Joyce graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in 1962, she worked in the insurance and medical fields and once met Mickey Mantle. Joyce also had a passion for music (Elvis & Yanni in particular), she played the organ and piano at her church for many years. Other interests were politics, history, reading and taking walks along the beach with her beloved dog, Natasha, where she was always happiest.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Frances Morrow & Dallas Lee Ellison, her little sister, Carolyn Naomi Ellison, & her loving stepfather, Roy Morrow.

She is survived by her loving daughter,Tania Anderson Marshall & her husband, Keith Marshall, her loving brothers & sisters-in-laws; Al & Kay Ellison, Danny & Faye Ellison, David & Jo-Ann Ellison, and her stepbrother & sister in law, Ricky & Maggie Morrow. She will always be loved and missed by everyone that knew her, including her Aunt,Doris Prigmore, cousins Sheila Moore and her husband Bob, Karen Prigmore, Linda Joann Dunsmore, Martha Williams, David Adams, Frank & Sherry Gadberry , Leonard & Sue Adams, & her nieces and nephews; Laurie Ellison, Matt Ellison, Deanna Ellison, Eric Ellison, Stephanie Ellison, Cheryl Ellison, David Brian Ellison, & Michelle Ellison.

It brings us all great comfort that she is no longer hurting or suffering and is in the arms of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
