After carding a round of 71 on Tuesday’s second round of the NCAA Super Regional Championship, Senior Brandon Johnson posted yet another one under par 71 on Wednesday’s third and final round.  Johnson finished the Championship at one over par and tied for 6th place – just one shot shy of advancing to the NCAA National Championship.

“I can’t express how proud I am of Brandon for giving it all he had,” stated Head Golf Coach Kenny Trapp.  “It was fun to be there with Brandon and be a part of his great play,” added Trapp.

Johnson fired rounds of 75(+3), 71(-1), and 71(-1) for a three round total of 217, good enough for a sixth place finish.

Johnson’s concluding round of 71 marked his final round of the season and as a Patriot. “It has been an honor to coach Brandon these last four years, we are all going to miss him,” shared Trapp.
