Interim Principal Named

Duncanville ISD has selected James Randolph, former high school principal at Rockwall HS, to serve as Interim Principal at Duncanville High School beginning Monday, March 19, 2012 for the remainder of the school year.  The district is in the process of conducting a principal search to find a successor for Executive Principal Mike Chrietzberg, who is transitioning into his new role as the district’s Chief of Staff.

An educator for 37 years, Randolph served as principal of Rockwall High School for 10 years when it was classified as a Class 5A school.  The school’s state academic rating rose from Acceptable to Exemplary during his third year as the campus instructional leader. In 1998, Randolph was named the Region 10 Secondary Principal of the Year.  He earned his Bachelors and Master of Education degrees from Northwestern State University.  He also holds Texas certification in Mid-Management and Louisiana certification in School Administration/Superintendent.
