hillIrene Norma Hill, 76, of Cedar Hill, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2016, at Pleasant Manor nursing home in Waxahachie. Irene was born on December 20, 1939 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Marion Bloomer and Maurice Bernard Pepin.

She spent her working years as a corporate bookkeeper and special needs school bus driver in Dallas, Texas. She and her husband, Bob, also ran the Old Mill Inn restaurant for many years. She spent her retirement years cooking large meals and hosting family gatherings, as well as arranging tea parties and making coffee-milk and “snack plates” to fuel the grandkids’ sleepovers or big adventures with grampy.

Irene is preceded in death by her mother, Marion; father, Maurice; sisters, Joan and Annette; brother, William; grandson, Bryan Bradley Fritz; and husband, Bobby Carl Hill.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Ann Nash of Red Oak, TX, Kennith Dale Killingsworth of Tulsa, OK, Leisa & Mike Moon of Midlothian, TX, and, Bobby & Nancy Hill of Mansfield, TX; her grandchildren, Paul & Amy Fritz of Glenn Heights, TX, Adam & Megan Fritz of Waxahachie, TX, Brett Killingsworth, Hollee & Sam York of Tulsa, OK, James & Aleks Hill and Stephen & Paulina Alcalan of Mansfield, TX, Toron Owens of Glenn Heights, TX, and John Valdez of Flower Mound, TX; great grandchildren, Paul, Raeleigh and Blake Fritz of Glenn Heights, TX, Alexandria and Adeline Fritz of Waxahachie, TX, and Remington Carpenter of Tulsa, OK.

jaynesThe family will be greeting friends and relatives from 6-8 pm at Jaynes Memorial Chapel, 811 S Cockrell Hill Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137 on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 Cedar Hill Road, Duncanville, TX
