Full-Service Residential Home for Women in Crisis Pregnancies One of Few in the State

Hope Mansion exists to break the chain of generational poverty and hopelessness by providing women age 18 and older in crisis pregnancies a loving, structured, residential environment, as well as the necessary time, resources, and support for them and their babies to become productive, well-balanced citizens.

Providing residency for women and their newborn children, the facility offers educational and training classes, supervision by loving house parents, as well as necessities such as food, clothing, counseling, life-skills training and medical care through a coalition of medical providers.

The 14,719 square foot mansion, formerly a high-end events center, is a faith-based residence operated by Transformation Vision; a Cedar Hill based nonprofit coalition of churches, nonprofits and city leaders.

Hope Mansion is one of only 12 full-service Christian residential group homes in the state for women dealing with crisis pregnancies.

According to a study by Brigham Young University, nearly 4 percent of single, young pregnant women reported some degree of homelessness during their pregnancy.  In addition, they are usually unmarried, uninsured, less educated and have less access to prenatal care.  No other maternity homes in the North Texas region offer the holistic, residential programs and services that will be found at Hope Mansion.

“The need is great,” says Angie Hammond, Executive Director of Hope Mansion, who used to drive by the mansion everyday on her way to work, and for 10 years prayed that God would allow it to become a maternity home.

The open house runs from 5:30PM to 8PM. Hope Mansion is located at 1595 Mt. Lebanon Road in Cedar Hill. Parking is available in the parking lot at the front of the facility and extended parking lot on the property.
