The first team to meet the challenge will receive a Speed to Feed trophy, bragging rights among their competitors, and $250 for their football team. Cheerleaders, dance teams, school bands, and football fans are welcome to cheer their team on to success.

Festivities take place between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday, April 6. The Speed to Feed building contest will start at 11:15 a.m. The event will be held under the tents at the Texas Trust branch on 109 W. FM 1382 in Cedar Hill. Canned food used in the event will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank. Texas Trust will also present a $30,000 cash donation to the food bank.

The fun and spirited contest is open to the community, football fans, and friends and families of the competitors. The event will include bounce houses, hot dogs, door prizes, food trivia, and games for people of all ages.
