Glenn Darwin Peterman, born November 2, 1934 on a family farm near Walnut Springs, TX passed away on October 31, 2012.

A long-time resident of Duncanville, TX, Glenn was preceded in death by his mother Addie New Peterman, father James Peterman, wife of almost 50 years Glyndell Boop Peterman and brothers Jack Peterman, Don Peterman and Jamie Peterman. He is survived by brothers Dwain and Carrol Peterman; sister, Doris Hart; daughter, Pam Wilemon and husband Rick; son, Steve Peterman and wife Lori; grandchildren, Ashley and Tanner Wilemon and Tyler and Kaylie Peterman.

After more than 25 years with the Atlantic Richfield company, which took him and his family to Alaska for several years, Glenn retired and, along with his wife Glyndell, built and operated Oak Tree Academy in Cedar Hill.

Glenn loved square dancing, traveling, fishing, teasing his grandchildren and most of all, spending time with family.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, November 3 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel; Rev. Max Brennan will officiate.  

Burial will follow at Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, November 2 at Jaynes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
