Haunted Forest at Northwood University

CEDAR HILL, Texas – On a normal day the Northwood University campus is bustling with students heading to class along with the squirrels scurrying through the trees and an occasional road runner crossing the road.

However, lately students have been complaining about hearing disturbing sounds of screams and ghostly moaning coming from the forest by the softball field.  Some students have begun to worry if the tranquil forest by the university is haunted or could it be something else.

Not to fear, it is Haunted Forest time on the Northwood University, Texas Campus. Northwood University’s Annual Haunted Forest, the longest running tradition on the Texas Campus, runs the weekend of October 26, 27, 30 and 31st from 7:30PM till 11PM each night.

Admission is five dollars for the public.

Haunted Forest is an outdoor version of a haunted house located next to the softball field at 1114 W. FM 1382 in Cedar Hill.
