GASO Basketball Tournament Arrives in Duncanville

Many of the state’s and some of the nation’s top boys basketball players will be on display starting Friday in the Great American Shoot-out (GASO), one of the nation’s top basketball tournaments. The Great American Shootout will proudly kick off April 24-26, 2015 throughout the Duncanville area.

gasoThe event is one of the most prestigious and well-known basketball tournaments in the nation, as more than 200 teams from several states, and Australia will travel to the Metroplex to play in front of more than 200 college coaches during the second week of the NCAA live evaluation period.

The Duncanville Fieldhouse (1700 S. Main Street, Duncanville, TX) will serve as the host site, as well as tournament headquarters. High school and middle school gymnasiums in Duncanville, Cedar Hill, DeSoto and Arlington also will be utilized.

The tournament will feature some of the best incoming high school seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen, as well as unsigned seniors still looking to find a college home.

GASO brings great revenue to the City and local businesses, especially in the lodging industry, with all local hotels now booked at 95-100% capacity.

3 Day Tourney Pass (Fri to Sun):
Adult — $20
Student/Senior Citizen — $15

Daily Pass:
Friday: Adult $5 Student/Senior Citizen: $3
Saturday or Sunday: Adult: $10 Student/Senior Citizen: $8
