Free AARP-IRS Assistance Offered at the Duncanville Library

The Duncanville Public Library presents free tax assistance provided by the AARP began February 1, announced Elaine Patrick, Reference Librarian.

“It will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis in Meeting Rooms #1 and #2 at the Library located at 201 James Collins Boulevard,” said Patrick. “Signups begin at 10AM, with pre-screening beginning at 10:30AM.”

The AARP volunteers will serve the first forty people who sign up and will be available every Wednesday through April 11 to help seniors through the tax process.

The library also offers 2011 tax forms, which are also available from the irs.gov website.
