Duncanville Schools Announce Campus Teachers of the Year

Teachers are the single most important influence on the quality of learning that takes place within a classroom, and Duncanville ISD believes that it is vitally important to recognize and honor those who exemplify quality teaching. As part of the district’s commitment to valuing teacher contributions, Duncanville ISD conducts an annual Teacher of the Year program in conjunction with the Texas Teacher of the Year program.

Duncanville ISD campus Teachers of the Year are nominated and selected by their peers and are candidates for the district’s Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year honors, to be announced at the annual Employee Appreciation Event on April 30, 2012.  District Teachers of the Year will advance to Region X competition, and then to the Texas Teacher of the Year program.

The district is proud to announce the 2012 Duncanville ISD Campus Teachers of the Year – twenty-four educators recognized by their colleagues as the finest among an elite group of quality professionals.
